Home Email: sstier@hnet.net
In November 2007, Pastor Sharon Stier came to serve Faith UCC as their transitional pastor. She became the permanent pastor in January of 2008. Pastor Sharon says her call to ministry began when she was in high school. She attended Lakeland College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in Journalism and Theater and Speech. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. She has served United Church of Christ churches in Freeport IL, Palos Park IL, West Bend WI, Fond du Lac WI, and Eden WI before coming to Faith. Her ministry in these churches included Children's Ministry, establishing Child Care Ministries, pastoral care and counseling ministries, mission work, mission trips, Stephen Ministry, youth ministry, and Habitat for Humanity in Washington County. Now she enjoys the new dimension for ministry which comes from serving as a church's solo pastor.
